Mumbai’s weather is at its worst for it just can not make-up its mind! I fell sick right after this shoot with fever for no apparent reason. Summers and winters are just playing a dirty guess who? trick on us all, each day. Anyways, I was looking for a pretty silk scarf frantically ever since I downloaded Hermes’s silk knot application. This scarf came as a surprise gift from Crabtree & Evelyn during my last visit since I indulged into their amazing range of hand-care products!
I had mentioned earlier how pleated skirts and dresses have kept their hold strong, making it a perfect companion for spring summer 2014. These dresses are utterly classy, feminine and can be worn in multiple ways with a slight personal touch. I wanted to dedicate this look to the leaving chills originally as I had imagined this dress with a winter scarf and cap but I could not resist pairing it up with the new scarf I got.
You can wear a pleated dress with a tartan scarf and a woolen cap for the winter colors or with a crop top/ coat for the extra girly/ feminine look. Oooh, you can also experiment it out with a denim shirt or denim jacket and sneakers. Just throw a boy-cap and Viola! you will make a street statement. The Navy blue pleated dress is by Asos which I had ordered quite timidly since I feared it may fall too large on me (I usually order from their petite collection). The dress is slightly longer than what I had expected yet I decided to keep it that way as I can always alter the length later on (This is the point where I should pat my back and do a little jig).
