It seems like ages since I posted anything on the blog or even had a thought crossing my head to get tippy-toes writing something worth-while. A lot has happened and changed over the past two years that helped me surpass the image of myself that I carried around in my head.

Eventually, you give the world what you perceive as you virtually and physically. Of-course, there are bandaids you put on others and shield their scars; and there are bandaids others pledge to put on you, at times tugging it away unexpectedly. We live in our castle of glasses built on minuscule ideas we might have absorbed along the way and when the frail glass snaps, we often find ourselves on the ground with nothing but wrecked idea of who we should be. The more we look upto the ideas of those surrounding us, the further we shift away from our own identities until our soul shrinks to a ghost of who we used to be. We clench the momentary happiness drifting ourselves away from those who actually stood by us when we were forsaken and cold. Would you be the wolf sheltering your loved ones or backstab the trust? In the end your choices define who you are and what you have become, so we can ask ourselves, did we try enough?

Why not keep the innocence alive and smile with our eyes? Why not lead a life we can be proud of, holding on to those who aided us or would you rather bury the guilt in a dark corner of your heart? Time is the real luxury and a moment is never the same!

So for my birthday month, I know I choose myself, I choose happiness and I choose the people who stood by me.
