It has been ages since I wrote a blog post and decided to take fashion blogging more seriously. A lot has happened over time and I finally have all the time in the world to spare for my fashionista dream. This winter was all about the long cardigans, long masculine coats and long flowy trench coats.
I had the chance to visit the fashion country France this year- which happened to be one of the best trips of my life; I met a lot of friendly and helpful French citizens who were kind enough to help the non-french speaking lost lonely traveller unlike the usual taboo. I was lucky enough to spend the christmas eve with a kind French family and taste the yummy authentic French food.
Cognac is a small town in France- splendid country side; solely accountable for providing the grapes for the brandy- Cognac. The prices for this alcoholic beverage varies from £ 20 – £ 1000+; it has a rather strong taste unlike my milder preference. Far from the city life, this town is very peaceful and old with main economy being the cultivation of grapes from which Cognac is made.
Considering the spectacular nature friendly ambience; my outfit rather stood out in the wild but I got some good shots from the day.
I wore a embellished shoulder top, accompanied with short leather skirts, tights, and a long masculine coat.

On my way back, I was fortunate enough to visit an old vintage house maintained by a very old couple who cultivated crops and bred animals for their everyday living. This watch cat kept all the rabbits and chickens on their toes making sure they all behave!
Babies day out- The poor squealing rabbit was let out for the first time from its cage and it did not stop shivering in the hands of a complete stranger!
Cognac is a heavenly small town for the perfect peaceful getaway; it’s rather tiny but a one day drive to the town with breathtaking view will make it worth your time.. 🙂
Haha! This was a snapchat pic I took which auto-correct FOTD to FORD; on my lips- Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick in the shade beloved.
Back to Basics:
Masculine long coat?

- The masculine coats can complement anything- from leggings, skirts, dresses or trousers; its a must have in the wardrobe because its comfortable, super stylish and practically goes with any outfit!
- Get a complementing scarf/ polo neck tee-shirts/ dresses for a elegant outfit/ street style outfit.
The best part about these over sized coats are that it hides all the winter boomed baby bumps we get from the delicious mouth watering hot food! It doesn’t matter if you are skinny or blessed; the masculine coat looks uber stylish on anyone!
