Temperature Switch in Mumbai has become deranged- thank you global warming- and winter days are either too cold for Mumbai or too hot and sunny to bear! I guess that would explain my frowning look in the photos. The cute yellow skirt was a steal from Kazo on sale which I had also mentioned during my Initial Posts.

What is a Street Style:

I have done lot of research, gone through various street looks and read wikipedia about it! However, I could not find the right definition for it. There is only one word that feels right for this look: Personal. Everyone has a unique perspective on the street style and a different definition with a hint of ongoing fashion trends (For all the fashion conscious). Through the assembled clothes and scattered words, I could feel the connection of street style and a person. Its an individual’s take on a relaxed street day with a hint of style and fashion.
Street style’s’s credibility goes back in the time when fashion was rich peoples business. Rebellions rose dressed in Hip Hop and street style than sophisticated clothing.  Sadly the authenticity of this street style is being washed away as instead of an individual’s taste we get the piece of their stylists/ designer.

How to wear a street style:

As I said earlier, street style is personal and spreads your individualism. When its right, it is right and you will know its right. Street style is all about your comfort and trending zone. Its all the rage you can imagine and passion you can bring to your lazy outfit oozing just the right style. The street Era has already begun and the designers have started including/considering street style outfits for their designs and the runway. You wont need designer clothes or expensive outfit to complete this look. Through your wardrobe and thrifts and sales you can still find the right assembled pieces for yourself.

My Personal Take:

From Cropped tops to cropped chunky sweaters we survived it short in 2013. Spring Summer 2014 is more daring as it tempts us to go minimalist. Its my resolution to hit the gym this year and shed my extra pounds. I want to create my street style revolving around a midriff baring shrinking crops and bralet. Have you found your street style yet?

Much Love,
Pinjil
