Current Trend Update: Velvet, bodysuits and thigh-high split skirts. One thing I have learnt about fashion over the years is that trends keep changing and repeating! So never throw your old clothes and choose wisely, don’t splurge into stuff you may not wear/ carry often. For example, purchasing a bodysuit is fine but buying multiple velvet bodysuits may become a problem for you.
Somehow I am head over heels in love with this hat! May be its because of all the movies we saw while growing up. Hats look smart and classy plus keeps the sun rays at the bay. Yes! I know.. Its black but classy.
Long skirts have been in fashion for a long time now and I spotted this beautiful tight high split Blue skirt in Forever 21! Ways to wear the spilt thigh skirt:
- Pair it up with a Sleeveless/ Folded Sleeves long tee shirt (medium fitting) and sneakers!
- Crop top and wedges/ sneakers
- Bustier (oh la la) and wedges/ ballerina
Be careful if you opt for the bustier as you don’t want your outfit to scream for attention. If I were to pair my skirt with any bustier, I would opt for tribal designs with subtle colors as they would blend well with the outfit without overdoing it and can be re-used for other looks as well.
